未成年人

未成年人 are available to declared baccalaureate degree students as an option in the Landmark College curriculum.

A minor provides a student with an opportunity to take on a second area of focus beyond the major. This could be an area that compliments the student’s major or different area of interest a student wants to explore. 未成年人是 不 required to earn a bachelor’s degree.

Engaging in the study of a discipline through a minor promotes connections to multiple departments, as well as to a subject area that a student may choose to pursue beyond the attainment of their bachelor’s degree.

A completed minor is 不ed on a student’s degree transcript and serves as further demonstration of a student’s intellectual persistence and dedication to a particular academic discipline.

A minor requires between 15 and 24 credits. Some minors may require completion of prerequisites that are 不 included in the total requirements of the minor.

The following are required by a student pursuing a minor:

  • Students may 不 minor in the same area of study as their baccalaureate degree.
  • Students are expected to earn a C (2.0) average in the minor requirements to earn the minor.
  • A maximum of eight credits can be at the 1000 level.
  • At least three credits in the minor must be at the 3000 level or higher.
  • At least nine credits in the minor must be Landmark College institutional credits.
  • At least nine credits must be unique to the minor, that are 不 shared with the major or any other minor.
  • Substitutions for specified courses or cluster courses are 不 allowed.
  • A department or program may include courses that are graded on a credit/no credit basis in a minor, but all other courses in the minor must be taken for a grade.

Landmark College 未成年人:

  • A minor in 沟通 provides students with the opportunity to take on a second area of focus beyond the student’s declared major. The communication minor could focus on improving interpersonal communication, 信息设计, 讲故事, 项目管理, 团队建设, media production or public relations.

    A minor in 沟通 requires 21 total credits. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 21 credits. At least nine credits in the minor must be Landmark College institutional credits.

    Students may 不 minor in 沟通 if they are majoring in 沟通 and Entrepreneurial 领导. At least nine credits earned in the minor must be unique to the minor and 不 applied toward requirements in the student’s major or any other minor.

  • A minor in 教育 provides students with the opportunity to take on a second area of focus beyond the student’s declared major. The education minor focuses on education philosophy, educational psychology, and student development.

    A minor in 教育 requires 18 total credits. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 18 credits. At least nine credits in the minor must be Landmark College institutional credits. At least nine credits earned in the minor must be unique to the minor and 不 applied toward requirements in the student’s major or any other minor.

  • A minor in Environmental Biology will provide students with the tools and the general understanding of environment-related issues necessary to live and work in an increasingly interdependent society. Students who complete the minor should be able to:

    • Apply the scientific method and quantitative techniques to describe, 监控, and understand environmental systems.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in ecological field methods such as wildlife survey, biodiversity assessment, mathematical modeling, and 监控ing of ecological systems.
    • Use scientific sources to support an argument or discussion.

    A minor in Environmental Biology requires 18 total credits. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 18 credits. At least nine credits in the minor must be Landmark College institutional credits. Students may 不 minor in Environmental Biology if they are majoring in the B.S. 生命科学. At least nine credits earned in the minor must be unique to the minor and 不 applied toward requirements in the student’s major or any other minor.

  • A minor 在心理学中 provides students with the opportunity to take on a second area of focus beyond the student’s declared major.  The psychology minor focuses on key concepts, 理论, and perspectives in psychology and neurodiversity as well as the scope and limitations of the discipline. Curriculum in the minor provides opportunities to develop the cultural competence to engage with all forms of social diversity.

    A minor 在心理学中 requires 21 total credits. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 21 credits. At least nine credits in the minor must be Landmark College institutional credits. Students may 不 minor 在心理学中 if they are majoring in the B.A. 在心理学中. At least nine credits earned in the minor must be unique to the minor and 不 applied toward requirements in the student’s major or any other minor.
